For years the world has been toying with the idea of Virtual Reality.
There are many virtual reality headsets out in the market at the moment but none with a fully immersive experience. One where you feel like you are truly IN the environment.
Well… That was until today…
A new laptop is about to be released and surprisingly it’s the work of not just a single manufacturer but a coming together of 3 of the top companies.
Acer (creators of the MSI and Predator range of gaming machines), Lenovo (part of IBM), and Bang and Olufsen (creators of amazing sound hardware) have come together to create an all immersive LAPTOP. No need for a headset, glasses, headphones, etc. The curved screen extends round to provide a 180-degree viewing angle incorporating 8K resolution at an astounding 7680 x 4320 build.
Flying with a i7-6950X Extreme Edition 10-core processor, a whopping 64GB of RAM, and a 960GB mSATA Solid State Drive to give you almost-instant startup, it also comes with an additional 4TB mechanical drive to store all your pictures, files, renders, creations, CADs, etc.
Nicknamed “The Beast”, it’s not JUST powerful, but too beautiful to handle! Pictures haven’t been officially publicised as yet but leaked images show the The Beast as one of the most beautiful laptops that will grace our geek caves for the next 3 years at least.
Pricing is not yet available but there are said to be 3 pricing models in play ranging from the entry-level (used loosely) £947.99 to the all singing all dancing version at £2,679.99.
